Principles and Doctrines: Sensitivity and obedience to the Spirit is one of a missionary's greatest resources.
The influence of the Spirit is the most powerful element in a person's conversion to the restored gospel. We need to learn to be sensitive to the Spirit and learn to follow the impressions they receive, also learn to obey its promptings. Missionaries are taught that they need to develop genuinely warm, personal, caring relationships with those whom they meet. As missionaries teach doctrines, they become closer and more familiar with the Holy Ghost.
Supporting Scriptures:
2 Nephi 33:1-We can rely on the Holy Ghost, with faith, to make our teaching "strong" like unto Nephi's teaching and writing.
D&C 43:15-16-The Lord made a commandment that we are to teach the children of man with His Holy Spirit. That way, they can become closer to the Gospel.
Inspirational Writings:
The only way that we can guarantee ourselves to be successful missionaries is our sensitivity to the Holy Ghost and its promptings. If we can master teaching with it, not only will our investigator's testimony strenghten, but our own and also our companion's testimony will not cease to grow, therefore, we will have greater success on our mission.
