Principles and Doctrines: The Book of Mormon helps bring people to Christ.
The Book of Mormon is often refer ed to as the keystone of our religion. It is the missionary's responsibility to introduce the Book of Mormon to the potential investigator. And through the Book of Mormon, by the power of the Holy Ghost, they will come to a knowledge of the truthfulness of the gospel.
Supporting Scriptures:
1 Nephi 6:4-The very reason this book was written according to Nephi is to persuade men to come unto Christ. That is why he wrote what he wrote, for the benefit of the Children of men.
2 Nephi 19:18-The wicked will burn in fire and proved an unrighteous example of wickedness that the Book of Mormon teaches against.
Inspirational Writings:
Elder Russell M. Nelson said that "Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon by the gift and power of God!" I agree with this profound statement because if the Joseph Smith did not translate the Book of Mormon, then everything about our church is wrong, but no! Our Church is the only true true church on this planet earth. We need to realize that the reason that the Book of Mormon has so much power to convert people to Christ is because it is a direct result of The Lord's power.
